fast approaching deadline

We're so close I can almost taste it! We've been stateside 15 months now, and I cannot tell you how my heart yearns to be back in Swaziland! As Tasha and I crawled in bed the other night, we ended our day saying a prayer for our Swazi friends. Though I'm confident it was a good thing, after an hour of anxious and hopeful thoughts, I was pondering whether our late night prayer was a wise decision. I'm so missing the feeling of total fulfillment we've been exposed to as we served that first term in Swaziland. I'm sure I've said it a million times now; There's nothing more fulfilling in life than doing what God has created you to do. Perhaps you can sense the anxiety we are wrestling with these days as we sense our departure date fast approaching.

We've just extended our furlough for what we do believe will be our final 3 months, marking the calendar for August 31 as our deadline. We do still have quite a hill to climb before then, with approximately $1,200 in monthly support and $4,000 in cash to raise. If we break it down into a little more tangible terms, we need just 24 more monthly supporters at $50/month and about $1500 each month (June, July & August) in one time cash offerings.

We've so enjoyed these past 15 months, as we've had the opportunity to reunite with family and friends, celebrate holidays and special occasions with them and indulge in some of our favorite things like Starbucks & Olive Garden. It's true we'll miss these things greatly, but it's with eager anticipation that we look toward our fast approaching deadline!

If you would be interested in helping us to reach our budget goals, we'd love to hear from you at doug.myers@agmd.org or you can look us up on agmd.org Thanks for your prayers and support!
